–1982<\/b>: Creation of the “Gym-Nidderaanwen” under the auspices of the BBC Grengewald-Hostert (President Jos MOUTON); due to space restrictions, initially only 1 hour on Mondays.<\/div>\n
–1996<\/b>: Foundation of “Summerwalking Nidderaanwen-Betzder asbl<\/div>\n
–1999<\/b>: “Nordic & Walk Luxembourg asbl” was born, as NordicWalking found its remarkable ascent abruptly; this young sport motivates both beginners and former top athletes;<\/div>\n
–2004<\/b>: foundation of the “Fitness-Club Nidderaanwen” in June (president Liliane Mouton) and creation of a 2nd sports hall => the training offer could finally grow;<\/div>\n
– 2016<\/b> : change of presidency of N&W Luxemburg to Michaela Weirig<\/div>\n
– 2019<\/strong> : in July, the Niederanven fitness club celebrated its 15th anniversary and the farewell of Lilian Mouton as president.
\n– 2019<\/strong> : from 4-6 October, N&W celebrated 20 years of Nordic Walking in Luxembourg with a big international event<\/div>\n
– 2020<\/b>=> 2 became 1, i.e. “MOVIN’andethana asbl” was created from the merger of the local clubs “FitnessClubNiederanven” and “Nordic&Walk Luxembourg asbl” and since then offers all activities under one roof.<\/div>\n
